No soccer club is as connected to its fan community as Wrexham in the current age. Everyone, from fans to owners and players, is in the same boat and it’s no wonder they have been successful in recent times. The club got promoted to the EFL League Two after 15 years, ending their barren spell in the higher leagues. The entire family bonding vibes helped the club progress and valued each staff member very well. But the soccer club has now lost a dear member who served them for years.
The director led the fans to own the club after their financial struggles and kept the ship afloat after their intervention. Thus, fans showed their respect for one architect of Wrexham who helped the club to endure challenging times.

Mark Jones saved Wrexham from the perils of extinction
After the previous owners had the club in debt, the Wrexham Supporters Trust became the new owners of the club. After the FA rules meant the club had issues satisfying their rules and regulations, the Supporters Trust took over the club from previous owners Geoff Moss and Ian Roberts. From 2012 to 2019, the club’s financial condition improved after so many years of struggle and toil.
They even won a trophy under their stewardship in 2012-13. After that, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney came into the rescue providing the spark for the club and leading them to greater heights. Mark Jones would certainly be a miss for every Wrexham fan following his work at the club.
