It is getting increasingly difficult to predict the future of Kylian Mbappe. While multiple big European sides are said to be interested in his signature, two sides stand in pole position to land his services. Although his current employers want to keep a hold of their talisman, La Liga’s head honcho believes that Mbappe could ditch PSG to join Real Madrid next season.

The French forward has been a focal point of Paris Saint Germain’s sporting project, and the side is willing to do anything in their power to keep hold of the player. However, PSG has faced stiff competition from Real Madrid, who have emerged as Mbappe’s dream destination. While Madrid declined to sign Mbappe this season owing to PSG’s massive demands, the side could secure the World Cup winner’s signatures at the start of next season.

Mbappe’s contract ends with PSG next summer and the player will be free to make a move without any transfer fee. La Liga boss Javier Tebas has often spoken about the Real Madrid-Mbappe situation, voicing his opinion on a possible move. The La Liga president has been an admirer of the Frenchman and hopes that he comes to play in the Spanish league. In a recent interview, Tebas spoke on a possible move for Kylian Mbappe to the Spanish capital.

“Kylian Mbappé will be in LaLiga next year. The probability is 70% – 80%” said Tebas. It will be interesting to see how the matter unfolds in the coming months. While both parties are interested in a potential move, PSG will try their best to get a price for Kylian Mbappe, perhaps in the winter window, as it would be a massive loss for the side to see their biggest name leave for free.

Kylian Mbappe was one of the most sought-after players of the summer transfer window this season. The PSG star had refused to extend his contract with the side, which left Paris in no-man’s-land. While PSG tried to offload the player, their massive demands put off all European clubs.

Real Madrid has been a key admirer of Kylian Mbappe for a while now. However, the side was not willing to shell out the massive cash, reportedly close to $280 million, this summer. Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti made his stance clear on the matter as he clarified that the team would not be making a move for the Frenchman.

Madrid’s decision makes sense as Mbappe is set to be a free agent next summer. Unless the player extends with PSG, Los Blancos can sign the player for free, which will be one of the biggest deals in transfer history.
