Inter Miami recently announced the signing of the Uruguayan striker, leading fans and media experts backing the David Beckham-owned club to support MLS. However, a former American star has confidently predicted that the club will not win the Cup this season.

But, former American star Ian Paul Joy feels that Inter Miami will not win the league this season. In an interview, he said that Luis Suarez and the new signings of Inter Miami will take time to settle in the new league. He further added.“I don’t think they will win the title”.

In the second half of last season, the MLS side signed Lionel Messi, but they also failed to qualify for the playoffs this season. The club was banking on the experience of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba last season but encountered a series of difficulties. Inter Miami fans will hope that both their experienced forwards can repeat the same magic they did at Barcelona.

Luis Suarez also had the same problem at Gremio. He missed several games because of a knee injury. In an interview, the Uruguayan striker claimed that he feels constant pain in his right knee. Inter Miami will have to manage his fitness with the pressure of qualifying for the playoffs.
