Facing Charlotte in the quarter-finals of the Leagues Cup, Inter Miami put on a dominating performance winning 4-0. With the win over their opponents, Inter Miami have now confirmed their berth in the semi-finals of the tournament. With a reason to celebrate, Lionel Messi was out to party alongside his wife Antonella Rocuzzo, and fellow teammates. However, the star’s night might have been spoiled as he encounter a fuming fan.

Following their impactful 4-0 win over Charlotte, Lionel Messi was spotted alongside his fellow Inter Miami teammates and family. The star alongside David Beckham and others was photographed at Miami’s Gekko restaurant. However, Leo’s day could have been spoiled by a fan who was filmed hurling insults at the Argentine.

While Lionel Messi was entering the restaurant, a fan at the entrance could be heard shouting, “Messi, boludo. ¡Messi!” which translates to “Stupid”. However, it seems like La Pulga did not notice the person as he had a smile on his face as he waved toward his fans before entering the restaurant.

Following the short-lived incident, Lionel Messi spends the enjoying rest of the night alongside everyone. Victoria Beckham also posted a series of photos on her Instagram profile sharing the group’s outing.

So far Lionel Messi has been sensational with his run at Miami. The Argentine has already netted nine goals in his five appearances and shows no signs of stopping. Inter Miami will face Philadelphia Union in their upcoming clash, with a win confirming the team’s slot in the finals of the Leagues Cup.
