Interestingly, Messi already bought a fancy apartment in Miami about two years ago before joining Inter Miami. With famous neighbors like Will Smith and Shakira.

After his spectacular debut match, he took a day off on Sunday to look at a huge mansion in Fort Lauderdale along the Intracoastal Waterway. Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their kids joined him on this house-hunting trip.

His new deal with Inter Miami will reportedly pay him around $5 million per month! It seems he can easily afford any price for the mansion. After his upcoming match with Atlanta, he might just be moving into his new home!

Tata Martino announces Lionel Messi to captain Inter Miami

In a press conference ahead of the Atlanta clash, when asked about whether Messi will lead Inter Miami, the head coach, Gerardo Martino, said, “Yes, he was our captain in the last game as well,” “It is very likely that both Messi and Busi [Sergio Busquets] will play longer, even from the beginning. Everything will depend on how they feel. It’s just their second game.”

With the addition of former Barcelona defender Jordi Alba, Inter Miami looks even more formidable. With their sights set on securing a spot in the Leagues Cup round of 32. Inter Miami, led by Messi, aims to continue their success on the field.
