Beyond his incredible success on the soccer pitch, family is a priority for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar is a family man and is often seen spending moments of joy and cherished time with his loved ones. But recently, the 5x Ballon d’Or winner surprised many as even after a four-day gap between games, he ditched his sister and niece’s birthday in favor of leading Al Nassr’s revival.
The skipper is already busy with his domestic side. Just last week, he led the Jeddah-based club to their inaugural Arab Club Champions League triumph. But it seems he is dedicated to the Saudi project, as it led him to skip family time for glory.

Recently, Ronaldo’s elder sister, Katia Aveiro, and her partner and Brazilian entrepreneur Alexandre Bertolucci organized a princess-themed celebration for their daughter. Valentina, Ronaldo’s niece, celebrated her fourth birthday on Sunday, 27th. Aside from this, the young girl also got her baptism in Funchal.
The event saw the majority of the Aveiro family coming together. However, there was a notable absence of Ronaldo. Not even his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez and the kids – Cristianinho, Eva, Mateo, Alana, and Bella Esmeralda were present for the auspicious occasion. Notably, as per Nacional, Katia being a renowned singer, also invited fellow singer Tony Carreira.

Surprisingly, he managed to make an appearance and joined forces with Katia on stage to perform ‘Ai Destino, Ai Destino’. However, Katia’s own blood failed to make an appearance. In fact, despite having a four-day gap for his next game, it comes as a major surprise that he failed to join the gathering.
Be that as it may, there must be an explanation for their absence. Primarily, his focus on Al Nassr seems a much more plausible explanation for his absence. After all, he is leading them to a revival.

After last year’s domestic failure, Ronaldo is keen to turn things around for Al Nassr. Subsequently, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has managed to start on a strong foot, having led Al Nassr to silverware. Likewise, on the scoring front, he scored 6 goals in the Arab Club Champions League. Speaking of the Roshan Saudi League, he has netted three goals.
All of his SPL goals came against Al Fateh, where he scored a hat trick. Remarkably, today he’ll be playing against Al Shabab. A will be crucial as they are currently sitting in 11th place with just three points. Al Nassr will certainly be looking to rally for three points and improve their domestic positioning as well.
