Al Nassr is going strong in this transfer market. Cristiano Ronaldo‘s club has already signed many top talents from Europe, as they look to further strengthen their squad depth. Under the current financial restrictions to make any major moves, they will now have to pay from their own pocket.  The club hasn’t limited their desire to bolster their starting eleven as well as the reserves. They are now in talks to sign another Premier League player.

The recruitment committee had informed Al Nassr earlier that any signing they do from now on has to be financed from the club’s budget. After Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent injury, Castro’s feelings about building depth have only got stronger.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s side is focusing on their defenses. The club has signed a lot of elite players for the midfield and feel it’s time to shift their focus to defense. The club is in talks to sign $8,680,000 worth Nottingham Forest defender Serge Aurier, as per a statement by French journalist Nabil Djellit.

According to the social media post by Djellit, he said, “We will have to watch the Serge Aurier case until the end of the transfer window. The Ivory Coast international has interests from Saudi Arabia and more particularly from Al Nassr”. Serge Aurier had two failed stints before signing for Forest on a free transfer last year.

In his previous stint, he didn’t play well and couldn’t fit into Villarreal’s system and was released in a year. At Tottenham, he displayed some good performances but didn’t impress much in his 3-year long stint for the club to renew his contract. Steve Cooper would be willing to let go of Aurier if a good deal is struck.
