Recently, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who currently plies his trade with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, underwent a lie detector test in collaboration with cryptocurrency exchange company Binance. They asked him a question to determine if his bicycle kick goal for Real Madrid against Juventus in the 2017/18 Champions League truly stood as his greatest-ever goal.

Responding to the question, Ronaldo confidently said, “Yes,” affirming that the bicycle kick goal was indeed his greatest. However, the lie detector test contradicted his claim, declaring his response as a lie.

The Portuguese star’s debut season in Saudi Arabia was nothing short of impressive. He notched up 14 goals in 19 starts for Al Nassr, showcasing his enduring prowess as a goal-scorer. However, despite his individual brilliance, his team fell short in their pursuit of trophies. Al-Ittihad secured the Saudi Pro League title, while Al Nassr couldn’t clinch victory in the Saudi Super Cup and the King Cup.

While his club endeavors in Saudi Arabia saw mixed results, Cristiano Ronaldo’s contributions to his national team have also been phenomenal. He has ascended to become Portugal’s all-time top scorer.

The pinnacle of his international career was undoubtedly Portugal’s victory in the 2016 UEFA European Championship (Euros), which many argue holds a place of higher significance in Ronaldo’s heart than even his Champions League victories.
