Despite having the backing of CR7’s riches, his sister recently complained about paying extravagant sums while residing in the world’s second-most expensive nation.

Ronaldo’s sister voices concern over high living costs

Sometimes, even the wealthiest individuals face concerns over soaring living expenses. The same situation was recently encountered by one of Ronaldo’s elder sisters, Elma Aveiro. The renowned internet personality recently backpacked across Europe and flew to Switzerland. The 50-year-old was there to hold another edition of her own fashion event, ‘Fashion Show by Elma’.

Elma documented her trip among her Instagram followers. Subsequently, she didn’t hold back from expressing her criticism regarding the cost of two coffees and two bottles of water. She revealed her astonishment at spending such money by posting a picture of the bill. As per the invoice shared, the cost of the aforementioned items was 15.40 Swiss francs, which is equivalent to 13 Euros or $14.

Aside from posting the receipt, she wrote a caption. As translated by DeepL, “It’s not lunch, where else? In Switzerland.” Elma’s words suggested that she wasn’t impressed with the high cost of the coffee and water.  One might not know how the elite perceive such prices. However, Elma herself was clearly bothered by the expense.

While Elma is traveling in Europe, Ronaldo’s other sister Katie recently celebrated her daughter’s birthday. Surprisingly, the $500 million rich soccer legend decided to ditch the occasion in favor of Al Nassr.

Recently, Ronaldo’s other elder sister, Katia Aveiro, along with her partner, Brazilian entrepreneur Alexandre Bertolucci, hosted a princess-themed celebration for their daughter Valentina, who turned four on August 27. Additionally, the young girl received her baptism in Funchal. The event brought together most of the Aveiro family, but Ronaldo was notably absent.

Even his girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez, and their children – Cristianinho, Eva, Mateo, Alana, and Bella Esmeralda – did not attend the significant gathering. Despite having a four-day gap in his schedule, Ronaldo failed to join the event. Perhaps his primary focus on Al Nassr appears to be the most plausible reason for his absence.
