Some families have sports running in their blood. Even though it could be a different sport, Trinity Rodman, Dennis Rodman’s daughter’s habitat of extremely skilled ballers, has shown up. Trinity, being a talented athlete herself, was recently thrilled when her brother DJ Rodman pulled some tricks in basketball. His recent ‘Windmill Move’ seemed to blow away the American soccer player.
Trinity chose soccer over basketball, despite having a legendary basketball player as a father. But her acumen about the sport is undeniable. The 21-year-old already claimed that she and her brother got the athletic genes from their parents. And even though she is good at basketball, she never felt like going for it. However, the superstar seems to be happy that her brother is doing great in it.

The relationship that Trinity shares with her brother is very close. And whatever achievement her brother achieves means a lot to her. In a recent video, her brother’s impressive skill got her flabbergasted. The US Women’s National Team player shared her brother’s Instagram story and captioned it ‘Okay Windmill 😳😝’
DJ Rodman plays basketball for the USC Trojans in the Pac-12 Conference, which he signed for earlier in May from Washington State. The 22-year-old had four seasons at Washington, scoring an average of 9.6 in his last season as a forward. The budding player also saw his sister follow him to Washington State a few years ago, but she did not play a game with her college team there.
Meanwhile, Trinity’s career has been nothing short of sensational. The 21-year-old started developing an interest in soccer at the age of four and started playing for the SoCal Blues, a club for soccer in South Carolina, at age ten. After ditching basketball for not knowing how to shoot, the Washington Spirit star is considered one of the best strikers of the generation.

Incredible Trinity Rodman gets ready for 2024
Trinity Rodman had a great start to her career and won the NWSL Rookie of the Year award in 2021. But after a disappointing World Cup recently, the player will look to make a mark next year with the Olympics coming in. Rodman had an average 2023 as she went blank in the World Cup, keeping her out of the USWNT POTY nominations.
But with a new coach, Rodman will look to maximize her potential and contribute to her national team as well. In 2022, she signed a record deal with Washington worth a whopping $1.1 million for four years. But according to recent reports, the record belongs to Maria Sánchez of Houston Dash now. Rodman’s choice of a profession in soccer has turned out to be successful, and like her father, she hopes to create her own legacy in the beautiful game.
