Ryan Reynolds being in philanthropy isn’t breaking news anymore. Every year on Christmas, he launches big campaigns for better maintenance and cares at children’s hospitals in Toronto. Ryan again came out to support such a cause. This time he is helping cancer patients in Canada.
Increased demand for t-shirts by Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds recently designed a t-shirt for the Terry Fox Run. They organize the marathon to raise awareness and money for cancer research. The actor took to Twitter to announce the t-shirt he had designed to go for sale and the entire amount would go on to the organization directly.

After the Wrexham owner promoted it on his Twitter, the demand for the t-shirt rose to an overwhelming level. Even the organization had to announce the pre-sale due to overwhelming demand. They wrote, “Ok, we heard you! Due to overwhelming demand, our first-ever PRE-SALE is now live! Pre-order your #TerryFoxRun shirt now.”

The insane reaction also overwhelmed the Canadian star to the announcement. In reply to the Organization’s tweet, he wrote, “Love this. So much demand for this shirt benefitting @TerryFoxCanada. Amazing organization inspired by hero, Terry Fox. #DearTerry“.
The inspiring story of Terry Fox
Terry Fox was just 18 when he lost one of his legs to osteogenic Cancer. Struggling with cancer himself and learning other stories, he decided to raise awareness and funds for cancer research in 1980. Terry Fox planned to run across Canada with a prosthetic leg and he ran more than 3.3k miles over the course of 143 days.
