Ryan Reynolds slams a Twitter user for calling Wrexham AFC, an English soccer club
One of the Twitter users posted a pic of the Welcome To Wrexham promotional hoarding on social media. He captioned it, “It’s Wryan Reynolds on the roof of The Fox and Hounds British pub in Century City! A shrewd location choice for a billboard promoting a show about he and his friend saving an English soccer team.”
Wrexham co-owner hit back at the user by replying, “It’s a Welsh football team, Bob.” He corrected the user about where the club is located and also mentioned football instead of soccer in his reply. Fans were happy that Reynolds gave a brilliant response to the English soccer club jibe.

The Welsh club is currently at the top of the Vanarama National League, level on points with Notts County. However, the third oldest club has a game in hand and a better goal difference than the nearest rival county. The winner of the league gets an automatic promotion to EFL League Two. National League has two promotional places.
The other team gets promotion through playoffs. Currently, Wrexham looks comfortable and determined for promotion after narrowly missing it last season. It will be a great achievement under the new owners if the club gets a promotion.
