Nashville may be in high spirits ahead of the finals, but facing the Herons might intimidate a few. However, their manager, Gary Smith, insists they are ready for any challenge; even if it comes to facing Lionel Messi. Additionally, they might be afraid, but they have respect for some Miami players, including the World Cup winner.

Recently, during a press conference, Smith was asked to shed light on his views regarding their upcoming test in the finals. Interestingly, the English coach had quite an optimistic yet down-to-earth answer. “There is no one in this locker room who is afraid of Inter Miami, but there is respect for the players they have, like Messi,” he said. While insisting on not being scared of the Florida-based club, Smith revealed that they won’t take some of their star players, like Messi, lightly.

Additionally, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner isn’t the only threat. Miami’s other stars, including Josef Martinez and Robert Taylor, are also some heavyweight names that they have. Nevertheless, it’s good to see the Boys in Gold are confident enough for the final, but humble enough to know their challenges. As for Miami, they should also not take Nashville lightly. But will Messi and Co. be able to get their hands on the trophy?
