The past few days have been exciting for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese icon won his very first title in Al Nassr colors. While the star has been enjoying himself on the field, he could need a better stroke of luck when it comes to life off the field.

The Portuguese talisman recently got into a massive bidding war with a Saudi Sheikh for a $10 million apartment in Brazil. With the duo bidding over the apartment, a third party snooped in with a private bid, leaving Cristiano empty-handed. Now, the Al Nassr captain has been hit by another massive financial blow, as his dream project is taking longer than expected.

However, according to the latest emerging reports, the construction prices for his project have almost tripled. While Ronaldo estimated a sum of $12 million for the project in 2022, the prices have now reached $35 million. Thus, the $23 million rise could be a hard to swallow financial deficit.

Cristiano’s sister, Katia Aveiro, has been keeping a keen eye on the development of the project, but she too does not have an idea on how long it will take for the construction to be completed.

“Look, “they like exaggerated luxury. Marble? The best. White gold faucets, smart and interactive rooms for the five children, heated swimming pools, an extra Japanese kitchen to make sushi. It’s all too little for him, and that makes him have to pay more.”
