Days After Shock Robbery News, Gerard Pique’s Ex Shakira Jets Off for Ailing Father’s Surgery, as Per Reports

Shakira has constantly been in the spotlight after moving to America. From robberies to controversies to her parent’s ailing health, the Colombian icon is dealing with multiple issues. Considering her father’s fragile health condition, he needed surgery as soon as possible. Days before leaving Barcelona, the hospital informed her that they didn’t have the means to conduct the surgery.

Hence, with the hope of finding a better hospital, the singer got her parents along with her to Miami. But things seem to have taken an unexpected turn. The paparazzi recently spotted Shakira at the Barranquilla airport in Colombia. Regarding the same, reports suggest that William Mebarak could undergo his surgery in Barranquilla itself.

Shakira takes William Mebarak to Colombia to finally undergo surgery

William Mebarak suffered a bad fall in 2022. From the tragic fall, he sustained major head trauma. But the singer’s father still hasn’t recovered from the same. The doctors then identified a surgery to quicken the entire recovery period. In the upcoming surgery, the doctors will place a valve in his head to drain all the accumulated fluids.

Mr. Mebarak will have to undergo this surgery as soon as possible. Along with the blood clots in his brain, he has also suffered from Covid. While his health is currently in extremely critical condition, the Waka–Waka singer has taken him back to South America. Soy Carmin currently claims that Shakira has brought her father to Colombia in order to get done with surgery once and for all.

Just hours ago, Shakira did give her fanbase a major hint of the same. She posted an emotional video of different snippets of her parents. Along with those candid moments, she also wrote a short heartfelt message for them. She wrote, “A smile from you is my weakness”.

In recent times, life seemingly hasn’t been so smooth for the Colombian icon. On top of it, her niece was recently the victim of a robbery at her residence.

Last weekend, Shakira’s niece displayed her ‘works of art’ at an exhibition. Reportedly, even the Hips Don’t Lie singer was present at the venue. However, a tragic incident took place a few days later. A thief broke into their home and stole Isabella’s iPad and her younger sister’s makeup. Hours later, Tarik Mebarak set up a GoFundMe link to help reimburse the young designer.

This is the same niece who designed the Colombian icon’s exclusive merchandise. Reportedly, they did not want to involve their ever-famous aunt in the controversy. Considering that Isabella is an independent artist, she seemingly wanted to handle the situation all by herself. Through the fundraiser, they are looking to raise $1250.
