Gerard Pique had difficult times in the last few months, especially after the breakup with Shakira. His soccer journey wasn’t going well after he was relegated to the bench at Barcelona. He fell down the pecking order and announced his retirement in November. After his retirement, he started Kings League soccer, which is coming to a conclusion eyeing a Guinness record in the final.

Kings League is an innovative step with seven-a-side teams. It includes 12 teams, with 11 match days. Each team will play the other once, and the top eight will move to the playoffs. The semifinals and final will take place on the same day at Camp Nou on Sunday. Now Pique is eyeing a unique record for the finale at Camp Nou.
Gerard Pique eyeing Guinness record for Kings League final
The Kings League final will take place at Camp Nou. It has a capacity of 95,877. Pique is planning to sell 90,000 costume face masks with the Kings League logo and wants those 90,000 fans to attend the final wearing the costume masks. It will be a new Guinness record if 90,000 people wear the costume masks. The Guinness record for wearing costume masks is 30,050.

The tickets for the final are up for sale, and so far over 80,000 tickets have been sold. It will take an enormous effort to make 90,000 people wear the mask for the final, and Pique looks determined to make it possible after his ex, Shakira, recently made 14 Guinness records with her diss track targeted at former Barcelona defender.
It will be interesting to see how things pan out for the World Cup winner in his attempt to create a unique record to break an eight-year-old one. Kings League has been a success that has amassed millions of viewers on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. Pique has also announced Queens League and is expecting the same support for it. They scheduled the Kings League to take place this year in two splits, a summer tournament, and a winter tournament.
Playoff, semifinal, and final schedule of the Kings League
The playoffs will take place on Friday at the Cupra Arena Stadium. Eight teams will play in the playoffs to decide the final four teams. The playoffs schedule:

Four teams from the playoffs will advance to the semifinals, which will take place on Sunday at Camp Nou. The final will also take place on Sunday to conclude the first split of the Kings League.
