Founded in 1968, Royal Caribbean International is a Florida-based cruise line brand with an impressive valuation of $26.23 billion. Inter Miami took to Twitter on Friday to reveal that Royal Caribbean International is now the club’s official vacation partner. The statement from the team describes the partnership as a “multiyear collaboration that combines the passion and commitment of these two powerhouses in the sectors of vacation and sport”.

The alliance between Inter Miami and Royal Caribbean International is expected to bring numerous benefits to both parties. Inter Miami will undoubtedly benefit from the financial support and visibility that comes with such a high-profile partnership. However, this is not the first financial boost the team has received since the arrival of Lionel Messi.

Inter Miami received $75 million after the arrival of Lionel Messi

Days before partnering up with Royal Caribbean International, Inter Miami received a significant financial boost from one of its investors, the Ares Credit Group. The Ares Credit Group has been an investor in the franchise since 2021. Recently, they showed their confidence in the team by splashing a huge sum just 20 days after Messi’s arrival.

They injected an impressive $75 million into the franchise. The aim of the team is to use this sum to support various growth programs. This also includes the development of the new Miami Freedom Park Stadium. It seems like things are only going uphill for Miami ever since signing Messi. Hopefully, these improvements will translate into success for their MLS campaign, as they are currently in a challenging position at the bottom of the table.
