Days After Seeing Off Gerard Pique, Unwanted Tragedy Strikes Shakira as Family Hit by Robbery

In April, Shakira moved from Barcelona to Miami with her close family. Without a doubt, life hasn’t been the same for the singer ever since. As of today, the Waka–Waka singer is needlessly part of too many controversies. Also, she is seemingly extremely tired of the media’s presence in her life. To add to the misery, the Mebarak family recently witnessed an unwanted tragedy.

A thief broke into their house and stole her popular niece Isabella’s iPad and other products. To compensate for the same, the Mebaraks have shockingly started a GoFundMe fundraiser on the internet.

All about the recent robbery in Shakira’s family

Without a doubt, the Mebarak family has quite a few talented individuals. Apart from Milan and Sasha, even Shakira’s niece has earned a name for herself by helping her. Some months ago, the singer dropped some limited-edition merch for her diss track with Bizarrap. Isabella proudly designed that set of official merchandise.

Recently, Isabella also had an art exhibition of her own. The Colombian icon was seemingly also present at the event. However, nobody expected a sudden tragedy to hit the Mebaraks. A recent report clarifies that Isabella’s brother, Tarik Mebarak has set up a GoFundMe link. In the description, they revealed that expensive makeup and an iPad were missing.

They then revealed that the makeup and iPad belonged to Nani and Isabella respectively. The report also suggests that they want to keep Shakira away from the entire matter. They never made a mention of the singer on the GoFundMe link too. That was simply because Isabella is now an independent creator and wants to make a living by herself. Through that fundraiser, they intend on raising $1250.

On the other hand, Shakira is dealing with her own set of problems. With the academic year also coming to an end, the singer will bid her kids goodbye for the next few months.

The fans expect Gerard Pique to be in America anytime soon. As per their separation agreement, Pique can spend 70% of the summer break with Milan and Sasha. On the other hand, the two of them might also reunite for their children’s graduation party in a few days. However, Gerard Pique is reportedly looking to make a few adjustments to the legal document.

Reportedly, the soccer veteran cannot be away from his work commitments for ten days at a stretch. That is also one of the reasons why he just spent five-six days with them in April. Honestly, this controversy has reached a very unpredictable point. The jury is still out there on whether Pique will always travel all the way from Barcelona or maybe just buy a ‘holiday’ home in the US.
