Neymar joined Al Hilal after spending 6 years at Parc Des Princes. The Brazilian described his time at the French capital as “living through hell”.  Soon after moving to Al Hilal, Neymar joined the national team for the World Cup qualifiers and is yet to make his SPl debut. Meanwhile, with a new boss at the helm of the Brazilian team, Neymar’s teammate explains the new philosophy the manager has brought with him.

Fernando Diniz, the new manager of Brazil, is known for his open-play tactics. His tactics depend on trust between player relationships on the pitch and individual skills. The defender stresses that this new tactic has helped many players, especially Neymar.

A breath of fresh air for Neymar and a new era for Brazil

Neymar is a player with a lot of flair. He likes making dribbles to progress play and Diniz seems to be the perfect man for him. Ney’s teammate from PSG, Marquinhos, recently spoke about the new philosophy that is being implemented in the  Brazil squad, calling it a gradual process.

As per Globo, the PSG player recently shared the team’s feelings after the onboarding of Diniz, he said, “He (Neymar) is a very transparent player. We see how willing he is to do his best, to help his Brazilian team. Diniz’s arrival helped a lot, he feels more comfortable.”

The 8x Ligue 1 title winner further added, “He demands a lot, has a game philosophy, and at the same time gives you a lot of support. The players feel good, confident. Ney is no different. With the team understanding, Diniz understanding in the best way, Ney can help us a lot here in the Brazilian team.”

Neymar recently broke Pele’s 52-year-old record and is now the highest goal scorer for Brazil’s national team. The Brazilian, however, has still been facing a wave of criticism.

The first wave came after he left PSG and gave an interview in which he described his experience in Ligue 1 to be a time when he and Messi were “living through hell.”

Ney has no love for Paris

Neymar joined Al Hilal in a deal that will see him earn $300 million per year. The Brazilian soccer sensation is yet to make a debut for the team as he was out with injury at the time of signing. Soon after coming to Brazil for the World Cup qualifiers, the Brazilian spoke about his time spent in Paris. Neymar stated that it the conditions turned hostile and he received unfair abuse from the PSG fans.

Neymar also talked about how he felt that the treatment Lionel Messi received at PSG was also undeserved. He stated that the kind of player Messi is he didn’t deserve such mistreatment. The PSG management didn’t even bother giving an official farewell and were swift to let him go. Neymar then said, “ He (Lionel Messi) and I were both living through hell in Paris.”

The star player has received a lot of backlash with pundits taking to talk shows to criticize the player for never being at his personal best for PSG. They also said that his antics were the reason he never had a good time in Paris
