It’s official! Lionel Messi has finally become an Inter-Miami player. The Argentine was recently unveiled in front of thousands of Americans in a unique fashion. Apparently, the World Cup winner will be living the American dream for two years. While he looks to settle in with his family, his National side is also planning something in the country.
After a massive unveiling, Messi briefly joined his new teammates. Likewise, his former Barcelona teammate, Sergio Busquets, also reunited with La Pulga. As if Busquets’ presence at Inter Miami wasn’t enough for Messi to give him a home-like feel, his own country even came to him. This comes from the headquarters of La Albiceleste, who are keen to build their second training ground in the heart of Miami. In fact, the deal is in the final stages.
Although the AFA already has a world-class training facility back in Argentina, they are looking to build another one in the U.S. Their new training center will be situated in Hialeah. It is rumored to be AFA’s largest facility in America. Moreover, the facility will also have commercial facilities that will be situated in the North Bay Village.

Indeed, it is a huge step taken by Messi’s national team. Lionel Scaloni will be looking forward to hosting a few training sessions in their upcoming training facility. The 2022 World Champions often travel to the Northern part of America. Hence, building a new facility there will benefit them in considerable ways.
As for Messi, the new Inter Miami man will be looking to reap the benefits of his country’s latest project alongside his national teammates. However, for now, his focus is on his new side as he looks to save them from domestic misery.

While Messi may be happy to hear the exciting news regarding his national team, the player must now bring his focus to the domestic front. Unfortunately, things are not looking good for Miami as they continue to suffer in the MLS. They are sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table with just 19 points. Hence, Messi’s biggest task is to revive his new side and bring them back on track.
After all, the expectations are high for the 35-year-old to perform well for the Herons. Everyone is desperate to see how he plays in a completely different league. For now, his biggest challenge is to take Miami to the next level. He must be planning something unique with the help of his former Catalonia buddy Busquets and manager Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino. It remains to be seen how he manages to do that.
