Days After Eviction Notice Gimmick by Gerard Pique, Shakira Returns Back to the Same Barcelona Mansion Supposedly on Sale for $14.8 Million

As of today, Shakira is back in Barcelona with Milan and Sasha. The kids have come back to Barcelona to spend about fifteen days with their paternal side of the family. But the shocking fact is that the Waka–Waka singer will reside in their old Barcelona home itself. Her return to the same house has raised quite a few eyebrows across social media.

Pique’s father had reportedly sent the singer an eviction notice just days before she left the country. That email stated Pique’s intention of listing that property for sale. But nothing seems to have panned out that way.

Shakira’s confusing return to Barcelona

As per B Magazine, the Colombian icon is back in Barcelona till June 19. Instead of Pique traveling to the US, the singer decided to do the opposite this time. But there seems to be some modification in the separation agreement. That’s because the soccer veteran can spend up to 70% of the summer break with Milan and Sasha.

Current reports suggest that Shakira and the kids are only in Spain for the next fifteen days. Last month, a report claimed that Pique was preparing to ask for a modification in the agreement. That was simply because he couldn’t stay away from his work commitments in Spain.

While that seems justified, his ex-girlfriend returning to the same home raises quite a few questions. Also, the Waka–Waka singer has returned home with twenty suitcases. For just a half-month trip, so many suitcases seem quite absurd.

Reportedly, this mansion in the Esplugues de Llobregat is supposed to be on sale. Over the years, the gigantic property has acquired a $14.8 million valuation. Selling the house also seemed like one of the main reasons to force her to initially leave the property. But nothing has seemed to pan out the planned way. Just days before the singer left the country, she received an eviction notice in her email.

The notice instructed the Colombian icon to vacate the property or face heavy compensation. Further, it had been more than a month since she left the country. But why didn’t Pique’s father actively look for a buyer? Instead, Clara Chia Marti was once spotted on the terrace of the same mansion. Currently, there are too many questions surrounding Shakira’s return to Spain.
