Kylian Mbappe was long rumored to be Real Madrid’s new striker. Speculation increased after Karim Benzema left for Al Ittihad unexpectedly. A deal, however, didn’t materialize and Real Madrid boss Carlo stated that his squad is 100% complete. As a contingency, Real Madrid signed some players as prospects, and among them is a 17-year-old.

The boy from Palmeiras is already excited to begin his new journey with Los Blancos. And, rather coincidentally, is also a Kylian Mbappe fan.

Endrick finalized his move to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. The Palmeiras striker will join Real Madrid in 2024 after accepting a ‘layover’ deal with Palmeiras. One of Brazil’s soccer prospects, he is the second youngest goal scorer in the history of Brasileiro Serie A and has a market valuation of $64 million.

In a recent interview with TNT Sports, Endrick was asked how he would feel if Kylian Mbappe joined the club. In response, he said, “I’m a Madrid fan, so the more good players come, the better. It would be fantastic if he came.”

Barcelona, the arch-rivals of Real Madrid, also signed a young striker from Brazil, Victor Roque. As per stats, Roque is pulling much better numbers than Endrick in Brasileiro Serie A.

Victor Roque has scored 11 goals in 21 games for Athletico Paranaense while Endrick has only scored 3 goals in 16 matches. It will be a showdown of talents next year when both of the players arrive at their respective clubs.

Mbappe rumors have died down for now, and new rumors of a plan B player are in talks at the Santiago Bernabeu. Argentine national Julian Alvarez from Manchester City has come out to be the transfer target for Los Blancos. Their first choice is said to be Erling Haaland but considering he is a prominent player in Pep Guardiola’s system, he isn’t likely to leave the club.
