A few weeks ago, Shakira finally moved out of the limelight. The Waka–Waka singer suddenly decided to move out of Spain. The fans were quite confused by the timing of her move, considering her father’s critical health condition. After a few hours, reports emerged that Pique’s father was supposedly the culprit behind the singer’s relocation. While Shakira’s heavy instruments are still in the garage, Pique and his father have listed the mansion for sale.

Let’s dive deeper into the details of the controversial mansion put up for sale by the soccer veteran and his father.

Everything you need to know about the controversial Barcelona mansion

The former celebrity couple owns a gigantic luxurious mansion in Esplugues de Llobregat. The property includes a swimming pool, a waterfall, a large open terrace, a tennis court, and three dining rooms. However, the soccer veteran and his father have listed the mansion at quite a reasonable price for sale.

As per the reports, Joan Pique’s asking price for the luxury mansion will be slightly over $15 million. Some weeks back, reports suggested that Pique has set an extra barrier of conditions for every potential buyer. To avoid paparazzi hovering around the property, every client will have to verify their purchasing power, as said on the Mamarazzis podcast.

Only then the real estate company will set up a meeting for a potential deal. Any celebrity or wealthy person will most likely think twice before buying the property considering its controversial status. On the other hand, the fans are still trying to decode the ‘eviction notice’ that Joan Pique sent Shakira days prior to her departure.

Did Shakira leave because of Pique’s father?

Soon after Shakira’s departure, La Vanguardia strongly claimed that Gerard Pique and his father were responsible for it. Joan Pique reportedly sent the Colombian star an email that contained the eviction notice. To avoid facing heavy compensation charges by the end of the month, she had no choice but to leave the property as soon as possible.

However, the exact details of the eviction notice are still quite unclear. To clarify the same, a journalist confronted Pique’s father recently in a public space. To everyone’s surprise, the soccer veteran’s father started running away from the camera. Whilst on the run, the mic managed to capture a cryptic five-word response to the questions about the eviction notice. Those five words have confused the fanbase even more.
