Cristiano Ronaldo is a man of records. In his era-defining stint in Europe, the Portuguese went on to win five UEFA Champions League titles and five Ballon d’Or awards. Having moved to the Gulf last season, the 38-year-old is still raking in trophies, scoring a brace in the Arab Club Champions Cup triumph. In his recent match against Al Fateh, CR7 scored a hattrick marking Al Nassr’s first victory in this season’s league campaign.
With many records, however, there is an ever-looming danger of seeing them broken. A new player is now at the helm of Real Madrid, and he is pulling off wonders just like Cristiano Ronaldo. Let’s take a look at Los Blancos’s new recruit, who is taking La Liga by storm.

Real Madrid signed their long-time target Jude Bellingham from Dortmund in a deal worth $111 million. Bringing Bellingham to the club was club president Florentino Perez’s personal mission. He swooped him from under the nose of Liverpool, who, as they do, weren’t willing to spend as much. Elite players come at a price and who knows it better than Perez?
Jude Bellingham was signed with high expectations. It seems the boy from Stourbridge had his mind clear since day one. Bellingham has scored in all of the first three fixtures and now is inching closer to a Madrid record. The 20-year-old is all set to equalize Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of scoring a goal in the first four matches for Real Madrid, a record that has stood for fourteen years. Is Bellingham’s form a new club bounce, or can the English International actually break the record?
Bellingham changes his game and looks to topple Cristiano Ronaldo
Arriving from Dortmund in the Bundesliga, where he was not particularly known for scoring, Bellingham seems to have changed his game completely, taking a more advanced role in Ancelotti’s system. Interestingly, all three goals scored by the former BVB midfielder have been at away stadiums.

In his competitive debut against Athletic Bilbao, the 20-year-old scored once in a 2-0 win and then went on to score twice against Almeria in a 3-1 win. In his third appearance in the league, their latest outing against Celta Vigo, he scored a goal in the dying minutes to secure the win for Los Blancos.
Cristiano Ronaldo, on the other hand, set the stage on fire in 2009 when he moved to Real Madrid from Manchester United, a record move then. The 5x Ballon d’Or winner set the bar from the get-go, scoring against Deportivo La Coruna, Espanyol, Xerez CD, and Villarreal in his first four La Liga matches.
