Brentford signed Romeo on a loan deal from his father’s MLS side Inter Miami II in January. From his debut, Romeo showed his talent and also impressed his coach with some nice plays and passes. On 14th February Brentford B faced off against Wealdstone in the quarter-finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup. With the score level at 2-2 in the 90 minutes, it looked like the match was headed for a penalty shootout. However, in injury time, Romeo gave Brentford the lead with a beautiful header.

Not only was this his first goal, but it was also the game-winning goal, as Brentford B clutched an important 3-2 win, punching their ticket to the semi-finals of the cup competition. Romeo displayed jubilant emotions as he celebrated his goal and was mobbed by his Brentford teammates. This was a monumental moment for Romeo as he proudly pumped his fists in the air.
