Over the years, Becks has cultivated strong connections with famous celebrities and Hollywood A-listers. Among all the renowned figures he has a special bond with, the name of James Corden is heard the most. Notably, today marks the birthday of the Peter Rabbit actor. Likewise, Beckham made time to send his best wishes to Corden.
The Golden Balls posted a picture with Corden in his Instagram story. In fact, he also wrote a caption saying, “Happy birthday mate.” The pic saw both Beckham and Corden in white suits posing in front of a cream-white and old rare Ferrari. Indeed, it was a heartwarming wish from the former Manchester United midfielder.
Interestingly, Corden recently accompanied Beckham at Geodis Park as he witnessed Miami Leagues Cup triumph. The Late Show host was also able to enjoy Lionel Messi’s magic and see the Argentine lift his first trophy with the Herons. Following the intense match, a few critics even suggested that the tournament might have been manipulated and prearranged. In response, co-owner Beckham offered a gracious reply.

Beckham’s response to the criticism about the ‘fixed tournament’ accusations
Following Inter Miami’s triumph, few made speculations that the whole tournament was fixed and rigged. Favian Renkel, a well-known writer in the MLS and Forbes, took to Twitter on Sunday to share Beckham’s response to the situation and the criticism. While agreeing with Renkel on Miami’s tournament run looked like a movie, he spoke about the tournament being fixed.
“It does. It does. People keep saying that. You know, every time Leo scores one of these goals, every time Busi makes one of these passes, every time Jordi makes one of these runs, people say, is it fixed? It’s the biggest compliment anyone can give these players because it is like a movie,” he said. It seems Beckham readily invites such criticism, as it barely affects him. After all, he was happy with his team’s victory.
