The David BeckhamRonnie O’Sullivan connection might be surprising for some. The duo recently came together at the premiere of ‘The Edge of Everything’, a documentary on the 7-time snooker world champion. While Beckham is the executive producer of the film, it was his comments regarding his relationship with Sullivan that surprised everyone. In fact, Beckham stated that his relationship with Sullivan goes back to his Manchester United days.

The documentary will be available on Prime Video from November 23. It promises to open the doors to the personal life of a star, considered one of snooker’s biggest names. Perhaps it might cover his friendship with the Inter Miami boss as well.

At ‘The Edge of Everything’ premiere Beckham reflected on his relationship with Ronnie. The soccer star said, “I was able to spend a little time with Ronnie over the years. One of my favorite nights as a Manchester United player, we’d played in London and I think we went out for a couple of beers and I ended up back at Ronnie’s house“. Moreover, as per Beckham, this allowed him to spend some time with Ronnie and further their bond.

The Inter Miami boss also revealed his admiration for Ronnie and his privilege to be a part of the documentary.  He said, “‘To be able to make this film is very special because it’s not just about him as a snooker player. It’s about him and his life. He is a special person but to watch him play is just beautiful

Beckham also revealed the interesting story of his fondness for snooker. He stated that snooker was his go-to sport when not playing soccer. Even at the bar, the former England forward loved to play snooker. Considering his love for the snooker, it’s not surprising that Beckham became pals with the snooker legend.
