Cristiano Ronaldo & his celebrations hit differently. Yet, the ‘Siuu’ stands a class apart. Forget fans, even fellow soccer players try to emulate the iconic celebration. CR7’s Al Nassr teammate Sadio Mane was seen hitting the Siu a few months ago. The latest entry is by Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, who ‘didn’t seem to miss‘ CR7 following his move to Juventus in 2018.

CR7 himself had previously explained the meaning of the iconic celebration. He first attempted the celebration after a goal against Chelsea. As per the Portuguese star, ever since then, he has been feeling the support of the fans while doing it.

Spanish star Dani Ceballos was recently spotted replicating the same in training. The central midfielder beat the goalkeeper with an impressive outside-the-box shot. The elated Ceballos then went on to hit the trademark Ronaldo move. The fact that even 6 years later, Real Madrid players are copying CR7’s celebrations highlights the influence & legacy of the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Dani Ceballos has found playing time hard to come by. With the likes of Jude Bellingham, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, & Fede Valverde in midfield, the Spaniard has his task cut out. He has impressive qualities & energy which Carlo Ancelotti values. Hence, the Spanish midfielder is often chosen as the substitute to see out games for Los Blancos.

Dani Ceballos & Cristiano Ronaldo only played together in the 2017-18 season. However, he did cause a stir with his comments when he claimed that the face of Al Nassr ‘will not be missed’, following the latter’s transfer to Juventus. Yet, as seen by his celebration, it is evident that the Spaniard deeply admires the soccer icon.

However, it’s not teammates & fans of CR7 that use his celebration. Shockingly, even his rivals seem impressed by the ‘Siuu’.
