Unfortunately, Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Al Nassr has been missing the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup action. Their rivals, Al Ittihad, are the only Saudi Arabian side to feature in the competition. However, this does not mean that Al Nassr and Ronaldo are stripped of any chances of representing soccer at a global level. The Riyadh-based team is all set to tour China in January 2024. Interestingly, CR7 and co. will rewrite the history of Saudi Pro League clubs with a unique feat while touring China.

Inter Miami had unexpectedly canceled their Chinese tour, barring fans from witnessing a Lionel Messi masterclass. Thanks to Al Nassr, the Chinese will closely watch another great of the era. Anyhow, they are not the only beneficiaries of the tour. Cristiano Ronaldo and co. are set to draw a hefty paycheck off the Chinese friendlies.

Upon the dawn of the winter break after this year’s end, Al Nassr’s first stop will be China. The club will play two friendlies during a 10-day stay in the country. Per prior reports, Cristiano Ronaldo’s team will earn a whopping $13 million for featuring in these friendlies. According to the latest update, this sum is the highest in the history of Saudi League clubs for attending a friendly in China. This is a feat Al Nassr’s rivals like Al Hilal and Al Ittihad could only aspire to achieve. Perhaps it is Ronaldo’s presence during the campaign that might have paved the way for such a record-breaking paycheck.

Al Nassr will reportedly reach China on January 19 and stay till the 29th. It is yet to be confirmed if Al Nassr will play Chinese clubs or some other international clubs during the outing. Seemingly, China is just the beginning of such enthralling campaigns for Ronaldo. The best is yet to come.
