There were rumors of Saudi clubs intensifying their interest in Real Madrid veteran midfielder Luka Modric. It looks like the rumors were true. The Croatian midfielder has received two contacts from the cash-rich league. Al Ahli has made contact with him as the other team is his former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema’s Al Ittihad. Despite this, there were anticipations of Al Nassr, with Cristiano Ronaldo as their leader, making contact. But they have not yet contacted the Real Madrid star midfielder.

It is not the first time Luka Modric has received interest from the Saudi League. Last summer, he received a lucrative proposal from current league leaders Al Hilal. However, he rejected the move to stay with the Los Blancos. But, he could consider a move this summer as he considers a future away from the La Liga giants.
