Cristiano Ronaldo became the first marquee signing in the Saudi League after arriving from Manchester United on a free transfer. He signed for Saudi giants Al Nassr. In his just the second season, Ronaldo is now an instant favorite among the fans of the club. The executive of Al Hilal has also hailed the Portuguese soccer star as the best signing in the Saudi League.

The Al Nassr star has also helped increase the viewership and sponsorships in the league. Further, Ronaldo is also inspiring the young generation of Saudi Arabia to pursue a career in soccer.

Al Hilal executive has even called the 500 million deal for the Portuguese the best signing in the league.

Al Hilal executive Prince Nawaf bin Muhammad said in an interview.The deal of the legend Cristiano Ronaldo for Al Nassr is the best in our league, and if he had been in Al Hilal, he would have become the first captain of the team.”

This is a surprising statement as Al Hilal also managed to sign stars like Neymar, Ruben Neves, and Koulibaly this summer. However, his impact on the Saudi League is the best thing for the league in its history.
