Cristiano Ronaldo will be at Al Nassr until 2025, at the very least. His deal with Al Nassr sees him pocket the colossal salary in soccer history worth $215 million per year. Yet, Ronaldo has managed to meet the lofty expectations as he is almost single-handedly powering Al Nassr’s title charge. It seems the people in charge at the club are already looking to secure Ronaldo’s future at the SPL side. In fact, a Saudi executive is hopeful that the Ronaldo situation will work out soon.
With 13 goals in 12 games this campaign, Ronaldo is the leading goalscorer in the league. His ability to turn up in clutch situations has helped Al Nassr win points from seemingly hopeless situations. Taking into account his influence in various aspects, Al Nassr is eager to have Ronaldo’s future settled without delay.

Saudi Pro League chairman Saad Al-Ladhiz recently expressed his thoughts regarding Ronaldo’s Al Nassr future. When quizzed regarding the same, Al-Ladhiz said, “God willing, Ronaldo will express himself everywhere. He is happy at Al Nassr“. It seems Al-Ladhiz wants Ronaldo to continue his Saudi Stay. Earlier in June, the Portuguese attacker had opened up after his first season at Al Nassr. Despite finishing the first season trophyless, Ronaldo claimed that he was content in Al Nassr while also praising the competitive nature of the league. Notably, the former Real Madrid star highlighted the immense potential of the SPL project. He said, “In my opinion, if they continue to do the work that they want to do here, for the next five years, I think the Saudi league can be a top-five league in the world.” Huge praise indeed from the Portuguese icon.
Cristiano’s stint at Al Nassr contrasts his spell at Manchester United. Issues with Ten Hag and poor team dynamics contributed to the worst year in his career statistically (17 goals in the 22/23 season). With 46 goals this calendar year, Ronaldo discovered his form this season. Yet, the question remains of why CR7 hasn’t extended his contract. It seems the problem is already out, and both parties are working on a solution.
