Cristiano Ronaldo’s legacy in English soccer is never under doubt. The Portuguese star was the last player to win the Ballon d’Or from the English Premier League. He has enjoyed great fanfare in England and a day ago, the Al Nassr captain announced the launch of his brand in the United Kingdom.
Taking to Instagram Ronaldo announced the launch of his water brand URSU9 in the UK. Sharing an image of himself with the bottle of Ursu he wrote, “It’s with great pleasure that I announce my @ursu9_official water is now available in the UK!” The former Manchester United player also mentioned how the UK is special to him.
The caption further read, “The United Kingdom has a special place in my heart, and I’m incredibly happy to share this moment with all of you. URSU9 is a natural alkaline mineral water, offering the purest taste straight from the source. Don’t forget the importance of hydration for a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Enjoy URSU9 and feel the benefits of quality hydration!” Looks like the star is expecting big things from the brand in the UK.

URSU9 is a mineral water brand that marked its debut in Madrid last year. It is alkaline and has a pH of 9. The project cost the ex-Real Madrid star $10 million.
Cristiano Ronaldo caught the eyes of the world while playing for Manchester United scoring 118 goals from 2003-2009 in his first stint. Cristiano’s illustrious career at Old Trafford also involved three club POTYs, and two English Footballer Year of the Year awards, among many accolades during that run. He returned to United in 2021, however that run not as memorable as the first and he left the club in 2022.
Being a fitness pro, Ronaldo advised people to stay hydrated with his water product, URSU9. Ronaldo has often promoted a healthy lifestyle and turned heads at Euro 2020 when he replaced Coca-Cola bottles on the table with water bottles during a press conference.

Ahead of Portugal’s match against Hungary at Euro 2020, Ronaldo sat down for a press conference. As he took his seat behind the table, he picked up the two Coca-Cola bottles in front of him and put them away. He then picked up a water bottle said “Agua!”which translates to water in Portuguese.

Ronaldo has spoken about his uneasiness with carbonated drinks before as well. In 2020, he tweeted, “My son has potential, we’ll see if he will become a great footballer. Sometimes he drinks Coke and eats its crisps and it irritates me.”

With his latest venture finding its feet in the market, Ronaldo will be hoping that URSU9 will further promote his idea of a healthy lifestyle.
