Soccer stars seldom shy away from combining the qualities of fellow players to build their ‘perfect player.’ Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Kai Havertz is the latest star to create his ideal player by picking certain traits of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and a few others. Havertz has surprisingly snubbed his Arsenal pals while putting together his perfect mix. Instead, a Manchester City rival has made the cut!
A couple of years back, Havertz embarked on a similar endeavor to create the ideal player. Now, he has changed his stance, with newer additions and snubs. However, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi remain constants in this combination. The German midfielder unveiled his picks in a recent conversation with GOAL. After the interviewer asked him whose left foot he considered perfect for the combination, Havertz picked Lionel Messi without any hesitation.
When quizzed about the ideal right foot, he picked Cristiano Ronaldo. When it came to the ideal player’s speed, the Arsenal star chose Kylian Mbappe. Soon, Havertz revealed that he considered former Brazil star Hulk’s strength to be ideal. Mbappe was handed a double mention by the German in his ideal picks.

Back in 2022, during his Chelsea days, Kai Havertz had to create the dream player in a similar endeavor. He said he would choose Messi’s left foot and Neymar‘s right foot. Neymar was now notably snubbed by Havertz for Ronaldo. Meanwhile, back then, he chose CR7’s head for the perfect player, lauding the veteran’s immense heading prowess. Speaking of footballing intelligence it was Rodri’s teammate Kevin De Bruyne who impressed Kai Havertz back then.
Havertz’s inaugural season with Arsenal suggests that he himself is yet to make it to a similar combination. He’s played 32 matches across all competitions. However, he’s only scored five goals and managed to assist once in such a lengthy tenure. Hopefully, he will make it to the mix one day.
