Al Nassr is aiming to lift itself. The club from Riyadh suffered an unexpected exit from the AFC Champions League after losing against Al Ain in the quarterfinals. But things could have been worse if their most important player Cristiano Ronaldo was to miss out on a few games. The Portuguese captain was observed to have injured his finger during their last game. Nevertheless, reports suggest that he was spotted during the club’s training yesterday providing relief to his fans.

Meanwhile, fans were worried about Ronaldo’s injury when they spotted a bandage wrapped around his left finger in his sister’s Instagram story. But, the promising news is that the player reportedly trained with the team yesterday despite having the bandage on. Concerns around Cristiano’s injury will worry the club in yellow as their season is not yet over with a lot left to achieve.

It is an uphill task for the Knights of Najd to catch up with Al Hilal in the league table. Topping the SPL with a massive 65 points and dropping just 4 this season, Jorge Jesus’ team looks invincible. But that would not stop Ronaldo from giving up. The player who keeps himself in the best of shape will not allow minor glitches to become hurdles for his goals. Despite some poor results, Ronaldo still keeps his 2024 count increasing with 5 goals in 7 games already.

The player missed a few games during the beginning of 2024 due to a calf injury which caused the club to withdraw from two friendly games against Shanghai Shenhua and Zhejiang. In addition, the potential last dance between Lionel Messi and CR7 was also hampered as neither of them played in their clubs’ Riyadh Season Cup clash. But the player amid the club falling short in the AFC Champions League would like to take them to glory in the Saudi Super Cup and the King’s Cup of Champions.
