The Ronaldo family recently celebrated a special occasion. It was the 25th anniversary of Hugo Aveiro (Ronaldo’s brother) and Rubina. To celebrate and strengthen their bond, the couple decided to renew the wedding vows. The gathering took place at Funchal, an island at Madeira. However, the noticeable absence was Cristiano Ronaldo and his wife, Georgina Rodriguez. Ronaldo has opted to stay with Al Nassr and is focusing on their upcoming match against Al-Duhail, a key fixture in their AFC Champions League hopes.

Much of the information regarding the wedding is from Elma Aveiro’s Instagram posts. In one of the videos, Rubina entered the altar with her son, where Hugo remained. Valentina Aveiron, the niece of Ronaldo was chosen as the girl with the rings. Elma also shared an image with the caption “Memorable day. Congratulations my brother, another stage in our lives“.

While the family is having a memorable time together, Ronaldo is not short of action. His recent goal against Al Khaleej was stunning. A goal special enough to warrant a unique celebration from the Al Nassr man himself.

Ronaldo dedicates ‘stunner’ to Georgina Rodriguez

Ronaldo’s 12th league goal was a sublime strike from range that helped Al Nassr defeat Al Khaleej. After the strike, Ronaldo pointed at Georgina with a heart gesture. Georgina herself acknowledged this with an Instagram post captioned ‘Lucky girl’.

Georgina Rodriguez is one of Ronaldo’s biggest supporters and can be seen attending many of his games. Moments like these highlight the chemistry and affection between the couple. The kind of support needed to remain at the top of the game like Cristiano Ronaldo.
