Al Nassr qualified for the King Cup quarterfinal after beating Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq in the round of 16. But Cristiano Ronaldo received a yellow card against them in just the 12th minute. This can potentially lead to a ban if he gets another yellow. Sharing the risk is his compatriot Otavio, who was also booked the same game.

Ronaldo was booked in the last game for showing dissent against the referee. Later, the match saw some very intense moments when Anderson Talisca was taken off. The striker was given a second yellow when his elbow hit the face of an opponent player. However, it was Sadio Mane’s late goal in extra time that sealed the quarterfinal spot for Al Nassr.

The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner is known to get angry at referees at times. In fact, CR7 could have received another yellow for raising his voice against Talisca’s decision.
