Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time and he has proved this several times. The Portuguese forward has put years of dedication and hard work to good use as he still dominates and wins matches for his club and country.
Ronaldo is currently playing for Manchester United and hasn’t had the best season. Nevertheless, he still has 12 league goals this season and 6 goals in 6 UEFA Champions League games. The forward has single-handedly won several games for United, and the club’s match against Tottenham Hotspur was no different.
Ronaldo opened the scoring with a wonderful strike from 25 yards that flew past Hugo Lloris in the first half. Spurs equalized with a penalty and Ronaldo stepped up again to give United the lead before halftime.

Cristiano Ronaldo calls himself the GOAT
An own goal by United captain Harry Maguire left the club with a hill to climb in 20 minutes, but Ronaldo scored a header in the 82nd minute to win the tie for the club. It was his first hat trick for United this season and a much-needed one before their UCL game against Atletico Madrid.
After the match, Ronaldo met with retired NFL legend Tom Brady and posed for a photo. The Portuguese forward uploaded the image on his Instagram account, where he called Brady GOAT. “Always a pleasure and a privilege to share some thoughts and ideas with another GOAT,” Ronaldo wrote in the post’s caption.
