The latest reports confirm that CR7 has fully recovered from his neck injury. It is a testament to his resilience and dedication to the sport. Moreover, the Al Nassr star took part in the group training sessions. It alludes to the fact that the injury could have been not serious. Or perhaps Ronaldo’s substitution could have been a tactical move by the coach to prevent the injury from affecting him further. In any case, Al Hilal’s task of stopping Al Nassr promises to be a titanic task.

During the match, the Portuguese star was contesting an aerial challenge but unfortunately collided with the Persepolis goalkeeper. Ronaldo came off worst from the collision and was seen to be in pain as he clutched his neck. The medical staff were instantly on the pitch and attended to the star player. However, the soccer icon proved his mettle as he bravely continued playing before his eventual substitution.

It was also reported that Ronaldo took ‘physical therapy’ for a quick recovery. More significantly, this guarantees his participation in the Riyadh Cup.
