The total value of that deal is worth more than $200 million including commercial deals spanned over two and a half years. The Portuguese star’s contract will expire in 2025. However, Ronaldo will reportedly stay back in Saudi Arabia and take on an ambassadorial role. This role will be till 2030, during which Ronaldo will try and help Saudi to win the hosting rights to the 2030 World Cup.

Lionel Messi currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain. According to Forbes, the Argentine soccer legend will earn about $65 million as his base wage this season. Additionally, Messi will earn another $55 million as part of brand deals and endorsements. However, PSG reportedly is preparing a new contract offer for Lionel Messi, ample time before his current deal expires.
