Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr could be back in China sooner than expected. However, reports suggest a fresh development. According to the booking platforms, “The ticket booking platform shows that the Chinese Victory Tour will be postponed to September 30, 2024.” 

During their press conference this week, Al Nassr cited Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury as the significant reason behind their decision to cancel the tour. The player has missed the team’s training sessions during the mid-season break and looks to reach optimal fitness in the coming weeks.

The Al Nassr skipper also responded to his team’s decision to pull out of the tour during the press conference. Cristiano issued a public apology to the Chinese fans before promising he would be back for them in the future.

The Al Nassr skipper also commented on his team’s decision during the media scrum. With a solemn look, Cristiano apologized for his team’s decision to cancel the friendly tour. “I want to apologize to the Chinese fans. I know everyone must be sad because I am sad too. I am a player who does not suffer from injuries often, even though I have completed 22 years on the field. But now I am very sad,” stated Ronaldo.

Cristiano also promised fans that he will do his best to recover and be back for them later this year. The latest ticket updates suggest the team could return to the country following the ongoing season. For now, Al Nassr will look to turn their focus on their upcoming clash with Inter Miami on the 1st of February.
