But this hasn’t affected the behind-the-scenes scenario as Al Nassr has a proven track record of making the right decisions. However, the club is set to make its biggest-ever decision, since the monumental signing of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2023. The latest news is that Al Nassr is looking to establish a new academy in addition to the already existing one. It will be located in Northern Riyadh and the enrolment fee for a player will range from $160-213 per month! The club also intends to bring coaches from Spain. Notably, Cristiano Ronaldo’s son is enrolled at the current academy and plays for the U-13 side. In fact, Cristiano Jr even won the league title for the season.

At Al Nassr, the expectation is that a single branch of the new academy could generate around 5 million Riyals. The upper management is hopeful that the first branch will be up and running by August or September of next year. However, this won’t be the only branch. Ronaldo’s club is hopeful of launching 10 such branches within the next 5 years. If all goes according to plan, this would bring the club a staggering revenue of $13.5 million per year. Regardless, such a project will require a significant financial outlay at the start. This doesn’t make it easy for Al Nassr who already missed out on a major financial support.
