The International Federation of Association Football is planning to introduce a new award starting this season. Based on reports, the organization is looking to give the award to the most famous club in the world. Saudi Arabia’s prominent sports journalist, Al Harbi, broke the news on his official X handle. Al Harbi wrote, “The International Federation “FIFA” is considering establishing an award for the most famous club in the world during the year 2023 AD, and Al-Nasr Saudi Club will be among the five clubs in the world nominated for this award.”

Al Nassr’s chances of playing in the Champions League has taken a massive setback. The Saudi Director of Sports put an end to the circulating rumors denying Al-Nassr’s participation in the coveted tournament.

Al Nassr denied by Saudi Director of Sports

In a recent statement, Saudi Director of Sports Michael Emenalo denied any claims of Al Nassr’s UCL participation. Emenalo stated, “I do not know where this talk came from, that there is a Saudi team that will play in Europe. This is not true!”
