The fourth game week this season could get tricky for FPL managers. Due to a long season, the summer transfer market has provided an influx of a lot of high-quality players, especially for aspiring teams like Aston Villa and Fulham. Meanwhile, the current big three in the league, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool have surprisingly gone low-key. But, as the league returns after its first break due to international games, injuries are the biggest concern for the FLP team owners.
The suddenly affected are last year’s champions City and its rival Arsenal who received a blow via its captain Martin Odegaard. While other teams like Manchester United and Newcastle are also having their issues, this month could see a revival. As the season is about to take off with greater momentum let’s look at the major injuries that could impact the fantasy managers.

7. Callum Wilson
Newcastle United has been a team to watch out for after the takeover from the Saudi PIF. They started the season strong again without conceding a game. The club was waiting for a boost with Callum Wilson’s injury update but seems like it’s delayed. The striker was out since the beginning of the season due to a back injury. Nevertheless, according to their coach, his recovery is taking time although he hasn’t incurred any additional injury or strain. While the Magpies have a defensive crisis with Sven Botman and captain Jamaal Lascelles suffering ACL injuries, Wilson complimenting or backing up the attack for Alexander Isak would have been a morale booster.
