While everyone is busy with the announcement of the groups and fixtures, a few aren’t getting over the blunder that the organizers made. CONMEBOL is being questioned for changing the draws during the live event. The controversy stirred up after the federation made a blunder in their Pot 4, consisting of Jamaica, Bolivia, and the play-off winners of CONCACAF-5 and CONCACAF-6.

Despite stating beforehand that Bolivia could only be placed in Group C, the organizers placed them in Group B. Additionally, Jamaica was placed in Group C, despite the presence of two other CONCACAF teams. Hence, this forced them to change things amid the final revelations of the draw. Indeed, it is quite a huge misstep by the authorities.

Nevertheless, speaking of the final groups now, Group A has Argentina, Peru, Chile, and the winner of Canada vs. Trinidad and Tobago. Group B sees Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Jamaica. The United States leads Group C alongside Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia. Finally, Group D hails Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and the winner of Costa Rica vs. Honduras.
