Cristiano Ronaldo can do almost nothing wrong this season. The star has been in impeccable form this season, with 28 goals already, and has been a nightmare for the rival teams. And one club that has been on the receiving end of his performances is Al Shabab. However, this time it looks like the player may get into a little trouble after yesterday’s Saudi Pro League game against them. According to reports, Al Shabab has been offended by the Portuguese player’s behavior and has taken the matter to the disciplinary committee.

Apparently, Al Shabab will raise a flag with the committee, which may include all the clips of the star’s claimed unethical behavior. Ronaldo, who is usually known to be expressive, reportedly celebrated his goal with an obscene gesture in front of the Al-Shahab fans. The footage was not captured on television but was later posted on social media. But what led the star to react in such a way?

Reports suggest that the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner responded to Al Shabab’s fans, who were chanting his archival Lionel Messi’s name. It was Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty that put the team in the lead, initially leading to rival fan chants, which may have also triggered action from Al Nassr.

On the other hand, it is claimed that Al Nassr keeps monitoring offenses against its marquee player and submits them to the authorities. The Portuguese captain is still having to deal with the Argentine’s rivalry in Saudi Arabia, despite Messi rejecting their offer last summer. It was earlier the Al Hilal fans who were chanting Messi’s name after their win in the previous tie.

Nevertheless, Cristiano Ronaldo has gained some criticism from experts, and it is also reported that the disciplinary committee is looking into the issue already. The global soccer icon is known for his creative celebrations, like the Siu, along with other improvisations after scoring goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo outscored by his teammate in a thriller

The game against Al Shabab was a narrow escape for the Knights of Najd. Despite Ronaldo’s penalty in the 21st minute, the club returned the favor to their Riyadh rivals due to Aymeric LaPorte’s challenge in the box. However, a brace from their Brazilian forward Anderson Talisca, with the third goal coming in the last few minutes of the second half, won it for Al Nassr.

Consequently, Al Shabab moves to 11th place in the table from 10th, adding to their season’s woes. Meanwhile, Al Nassr still holds the #2 spot below Al Hilal, who looks to be running away with the title. But the bigger question is — Will Ronaldo be safe from the disciplinary committee? Only time will tell.
