PRIME Hydration could finally have a big competitor in the energy drink space, with Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi launching Mas+. The move has been in the pipeline for a while and it seems Messi is ready to take it to the heavyweights now. However, the Argentine is already in for a dramatic experience. The initial response to the release of Mas+ hasn’t been that good, with many fans accusing La Pulga of stealing PRIME Hydration’s design.

Well, they aren’t completely wrong, especially if you put both drinks together. They seem pretty similar in their looks. However, there are some major differences between the two drinks in terms of their components, with Mas+ offering nutritional benefits. According to their campaign, Mas+ has fewer calories and sugar when compared to PRIME. The drink is said to contain a mix of minerals, electrolytes, and vitamins, which is different from their competitor.

Sale-wise, Mas+ will be exclusive to Miami in the coming weeks before it is distributed to different parts of the world starting in July and August. PRIME, in the meantime, has done a great job expanding its market. The hydration drink is available all across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Europe and select nations in Africa.

Only time will tell how Lionel Messi’s Mas+ compares to Logan Paul and KSI’s PRIME Hydration. For now, Messi’s new product is garnering a lot of attention, not just from the fans, but also from the content creators and the influencers.

Streamer IShowSpeed and PRIME Hydration co-owner KSI did not shy away from taking a dig at Lionel Messi following the launch of Mas+. While KSI subtly called out Messi for launching a familiar drink, it was Speed who took things to the next level. The two content creators talked about the hydration drink on a collaborative stream, with Speed claiming Messi stole their idea.

IShowSpeed stated, “Bro, why is Messi trying to make a PRIME drink, bro? Why are you trying to steal my drink? Like me (pretending to be KSI) and Logan Paul started this sh*t from the ground up. And you’re trying to steal our sh*t?”

KSI during the whole time had a smile on his face as he listened to Speed call out Messi. Notably, PRIME Hydration co-owner Logan Paul is yet to comment on the situation. However, knowing how the self-proclaimed “Maverick” does not shy away from voicing his opinion, expect something spicy during the upcoming episodes of Impulsive!
