The future of Carlo Ancelotti is one shrouded in mystery. The Real Madrid boss will be out of contract in June and there is still no confirmation or news regarding a renewal. There have been many rumors regarding a potential move to the Selecao as well. However, it looks like the Italian definitely won’t be moving to the Saudi Pro League, as the tactician has ruled out a potential move to the Middle East.
Since his return to Real Madrid in 2021, the veteran manager has overseen a very successful period winning the Champions League and La Liga in his first season. As the rumors of Xabi Alonso don’t seem to go away, this could be the final season in Madrid for the legend.

In a recent press conference, Carlo Ancelotti spoke about the likeliness of moving to Saudi Arabia. He said, “If I would go to Saudi Arabia for €500 million? Look, I wouldn’t even have to book the flight. I would walk on my feet to go there”. However, this was just a play, as the Italian said, “No, I’m joking. I don’t need money”. Interestingly, he also added, “I’ve another plan and it’s not about Saudi”. Could Carlo be implying the rumoured Brazil move?
Carlo Ancelotti also added that the financial package was not the ultimate decider for him. He said, “Money is not crucial, I’ve enough money… I just want to feel good.” Considering his success as a manager, money never seemed to be a priority for the 4-time Champions League-winning coach. Hence, his next team, if any, would benefit highly from the Italian’s diverse experience.
