The future of Christian Pulisic has become a subject of concern over the past few weeks. Thanks to his superb form for AC Milan, the American skipper has been linked with a potential return to the Premier League and signing for Liverpool. But amidst the uncertainty, Pulisic might have just confirmed his future, as he seems certain about the club to which he wants to ‘give everything’.

To clear things out, the winger hasn’t directly rejected the Reds; the 26-year-old talking about his ambition to stay at the heart of Milan and give everything is enough to suggest how eager he is to succeed in the red and black jersey. Add some encouraging words on top of that, coming from icons like Zlatan Ibrahimovic—calling him ‘Captain America’ and praising the American for keeping his ‘feet on the ground’—which served as extra motivation for Christian to go over the top for the Serie A side. Such words only make Pulisic feel more important at the club.

“A statement like that from Ibra—there’s not much more to it than he expects a lot out of me and the club expects a lot out of me, and that’s exactly the place I want to be in,” the former Chelsea star noted while speaking to GQ during an exclusive chat. This season has somewhat seen a rebirth of Pulisic. With 8 goals and 6 assists in over 20 games and electrifying performances, the USMNT star has been making it clear how keen he is to help the Rossoneri achieve its goals. “I want to give everything for this club. I’ve shown in a short time that I can be a big part of this team and help us create goals,” optimistically concluded Pulisic.

To be fair, this is the least of what Christian has managed to take credit for himself. Earlier, Ibrahimovic had some praiseful words for the forward: “He doesn’t like to be called Captain America… doesn’t see himself like a superhero. He’s playing low profile and feet on the ground but it’s not the case. You are Captain America. I don’t give a s**t what you say, you are. If that’s more pressure on you, I don’t care. It’s his own fault, I’m sorry to say, If you weren’t so good, we wouldn’t ask nothing from you.”

These statements have raised the bar for Pulisic to develop and offer more to the club; no wonder he has been reluctant to accept such praise from someone like Ibrahimovic. Either way, the good thing is that he is keen to stay in Milan. And even if there remains a scope for confusion, he has some words of wisdom to consider!

Christian Pulisic shall listen to his inner voice amid Liverpool links!

Former USMNT goalkeeper Kasey Keller shared his views regarding the transfer debacle that Christian Pulisic is facing. According to the iconic goalie, there is no ‘right or wrong’ answer and he shall embrace bold decisions by choosing what’s best for him. “It’s just what Christian feels at that time. If it’s right for his team and him to make a move, I would be 100 percent supportive as well if he was like ‘This is a pretty good situation I have got at AC Milan so we’re going to stay with this for a while’,“ Keller said.

The icon also emphasized that, in the end, what truly matters is whether Pulisic will get consistent playing time wherever he moves. No matter how much a manager insists that Pulisic is “his guy,” poor performances could quickly change that status—that is why Keller asked Pulisic to ‘bet‘ on himself and take the best risk in his interest. While this is some healthy advice, the optimism that Christian Pulisic showed to help AC Milan makes it clear that he isn’t going anywhere.
