Real Madrid have a lot on their plate right now. After a disappointing campaign last season, the team is looking to get their hands on major silverware this season. There’s no doubt that head coach Carlo Ancelotti has done a decent job in charge of Los Blancos. However, there have been numerous speculations surrounding his future with the manager touted to take over Fernando Diniz as the Brazilian head coach.
Based on sources, the CBF has a verbal agreement in place with the Italian tactician. The Spanish giants are hoping to secure the manager’s services before the World Cup but will have to do their best to lure him away from Santiago Bernabeu.

Television personality Gustavo Hoffman was present on ESPN last night during their recap show. Talking to host Tim Vickery, Hoffman stated that the Brazil Football Federation might have a verbal agreement with Carlo Ancelotti over the head coach position.
According to Hoffman, “The info that we have from inside CBF is that the Brazilian Football Confederation has the yes from Carlo Ancelotti. He will be the manager after the European season. But there is nothing signed, absolutely nothing. One person that I talked to from the technical staff yesterday in the match they told me there is nothing in signing.”
He then added, “You know how it is in football, things really change from one day to the other. Here in Madrid, people are already talking about a new possible contract for Ancelotti. Between Carlo Ancelotti and CBF, there are just words. There is nothing signed, CBF really expects and believes Carlo Ancelotti will be the manager. That’s why they don’t think about changing Fernando Diniz.”
It will be interesting to see if Ancelotti decides to leave Real Madrid, to pursue the job with the Brazilian national team. While there are many uncertainties, Ancelotti’s appointment will surely benefit the Selecao.

Ancelotti and his men will be looking to turn things around this season. The team is currently two points behind table-toppers Girona who are having an outstanding season so far in their campaign. If Carlo Ancelotti is leaning towards the job offer from Brazil, the Italian will want to end things on a high at Real Madrid.
